Good location, walking distance to nearby malls and restaurant. 15minutes walk to Chowrasta Market
Prayer mat not available in the room, need to request from Housekeeping. Lift only 2 in service out of 3.

What was the highlight of Neo+ Penang
Very Good
- The manager was incredibly helpful. He offered to upgrade me to a suite when there were no more of the double rooms available, and we negotiated to keep me in the suite at the same rate. I was VERY happy about that. - The suite had a lot of space and great lighting, far better than the double room I was staying in. I am so glad I got upgraded; it made spending the hot afternoons (which I choose to do work) much more enjoyable. - Aside from the pool deck, the pool itself is well-maintained. Their ridiculous rules about "no revealing swim clothing and no pool shorts" can be safely ignored, as no one is enforcing this nonsense. If you like fancy bars with western prices and easy grocery store and mall access, this place is great! I recommend getting groceries at Gama and saving money that way, so you can spend it at Good Friends Club and the other pricey but awesome nearby bars. 50-60MYR per cocktail as of 2024. - There is no nearby beach, I don't know what booking.com is talking about "Northram Beach." I guess Batu Ferrenghi is OK but it is pretty far. Be careful, this beach is not clean (you might find diapers and tampons in the water) so go to Langkawi if you want beaches.
- Breakfast was OK but not great. I stopped buying it to include with my room stay. I think more western options would have helped. - WiFi was ok, but video calls were pretty bad. I tried to call family and had a few video calls for work with my boss that kept getting cut short. I had to rely on my 4G through TuneTalk instead. - The pool deck has some serious damage. The hotel has signs up to ward you away, but the deck needs to be repaired. Someone could step right through the deck and break their ankle. - Kids show up in the pool and make it noisy but what can the hotel do about it.
